No special hardware is needed. Any Android phone, tablet, or TV box (Android stick, Android TV box) will do. Just connect an Android device to your existing TV via HDMI. The management app runs on an Android phone.
Price data is pulled live from the Istanbul Jewelers' Association and other authorized financial institutions. This data updates every second and never requires manual intervention. The jeweler can also enter their own custom prices into the system if they choose.
Based on the current gram gold price, the system instantly calculates prices for 8K (333), 14K (585), 18K (750), 21K (875), 22K (916), and 24K (999) purity. The buy/sell spread and workmanship fee are customizable by the jeweler.
The screen can show gram gold prices, ounce, exchange rates, gold coins, and quarter/half/full gold prices. Background color, font, logo, scrolling ticker, and price order are all fully customizable. The screen can be used in landscape or portrait mode.
If the internet connection drops, the screen keeps showing the last updated prices and an alert indicator activates. Prices update automatically once the connection is restored. The jeweler can also enter prices manually during that time.
